Enhancing Lives through Transplantation

A commitment to quality, safety and service.

Quality control begins with recovery procedures.

Northwest Tissue Services uses exclusive controlled recovery procedures that are only performed in an operating room environment and are never post autopsy. We recover all tissue aseptically and process it by strict adherence to surgical principles.

Donor suitability and tracking ensure safety.

Donor evaluation includes a review of all available medical records, discussion with medical staff, and next-of-kin interviews. GraftTrack, our unique donor to recipient custodial process, carefully documents all aspects of the recovery, testing, storing, and distribution and tracking of tissue.

Partnership with hospitals and surgeons means better service.

Our inventory is guided strictly by physician and patient needs in the local community, with 85 percent of recovered tissue going to patients in the Northwest. Regional allograft consultants are always available to visit the hospitals and consult with physicians on any issue relating to the type of grafts and available inventory.
